Several times now, the trendence institute elected Salzgitter AG to be one of the 100 most popular employers in Germany. On a regular basis, some 11,000 engineering students close to their exam, take part in this study and make their choice.

PS: The City of Braunschweig, which is directly adjacent to Salzgitter, received an interesting ranking in a comparison of cities throughout Germany - place 11 in the City ranking, which is even better than the rankings accorded to Hamburg or Cologne, for example. The city comes in at eighth place in engineer density, and sixth in the category of "Service-oriented and open-for-reform city administration."
