Top quality steel for top quality products
Hot-dip galvanized or thin-coated sheet produced by Salzgitter Flachstahl forms the primary material for the highly specialized products that Salzgitter Europlatinen GmbH manufactures for the European automotive industry and its suppliers: stamped blanks, patchwork blanks, and especially tailored blanks that are welded together in a computer monitored laser process involving blanks of different grades and thicknesses, in order to bundle the desired positive properties. Subsequently, automobile manufacturers and their suppliers form and process these blanks to make body components.
