Wolfgang Kirchhoff presents the certificate Supplier of the Year

The jury was formed by members of the purchasing, quality assurance and logistics department. The main focus was placed on delivered quality, logistics and services rendered. Salzgitter Flachstahl achieved a compliance rate of 99 percent. With this award, Kirchhoff Automotive acknowledges our supply performance. This heightens our motivation for a constant development and extension of our business relationship. Already today, Kirchhoff Automotive Deutschland is one of our main customers.

The responsible team of Salzgitter Flachstahl

Within the framework of the ceremony, we had the opportunity to introduce our middle- and long-term strategies and to point out palpable aims for research and services to our customer. For us, it was important to point out that this award is the result of the close co-operation between Kirchhoff Automotive, Salzgitter Flachstahl, Salzgitter Mannesmann Forschung and all the departments involved in the differenc processes.

Kirchhoff Automotive is part of the Kirchhoff-Group which - as a family enterprise in the fourth generation - may look back on more than 220 years of history. With 17 factories in nine countries, Kirchhoff Automotive produces components and modules for the international automotive industry.

Further awards were presented to Messrs. Acument (for purchase parts) and Messrs. Heinz Arens (for subcontracting).
