New price lists for hot-dip galvanised products, Stroncoat^® products and pre-painted material Folastal^® and Folastal Stroncoat^® come into effect on April 1, 2010.

Last autumn, Salzgitter Flachstahl started the fourth customer satisfaction survey. Again, the participation rate was very high. The results of the survey provide Salzgitter Flachstahl with a number of clues for the further improvement of products and processes and thus to increase the satisfaction of their customers.

In planning methods for the manufacturing of components the virtual design and safeguarding is absolutely essential. Within the context of a joint project the influence of the rate of forming on the forming limit curve and therefore on a possible component failure was investigated in cooperation with the steel and automotive industry as well as testing institutes.

Following the conversion measures, which included the installation of distributing launders and transfer vessels at the hot-dip galvanizing plant 1, SZAG produced the first Stroncoat campaign as planned.

Steel drum production has increased steadily in recent years due to society's growing environmental awareness and statutory restrictions.Thanks to a combination of measures, SZFG is now able to ensure its customers shorter delivery times for enhanced quality material for manufacturing drums.
