Power Plant

In the power plant, any process gases from the steel works that are not needed for heating purposes in the various steel plants are utilized to produce steam. 1/3 of the steam is required as process steam at the production sites, while 2/3 are used to produce electricity.

The company’s own power plant ensures a continuous power supply for production plants in the whole manufacturing process.
