Secondary metallurgy (VPL plant)

In the secondary metallurgy (VPL plant), the crude steel made in the converter shop is finished to the required steel analysis defined by the customer. The flexible processing steps in this facility (alloying, heating, stirring and vacuum degassing) enable a wide range of steel grades to be produced.
