Change in the management of Salzgitter Flachstahl

Dipl.-Kfm. Frederick Schröder has been assigned as the new Managing Director at Salzgitter Flachstahl effective April 1,2024. He follows Alexander Stein as Head of Finance and Purchasing. 

Frederick Schröder started his corporate career in 2009 as Senior Controller at Salzgitter AG and managed this department since 2019. At the same time, he was Managing Director for Finance and Controlling at Salzgitter Europlatinen GmbH from 2017 to 2021 and then Managing Director of Verkehrsbetriebe Peine-Salzgitter GmbH from 2021 to 2024. There he was responsible for the commercial functions (accounting, controlling, human resources, central tasks, projects and communication).

Dipl.-Betriebswirt Alexander Stein will leave the Management Board of Salzgitter Flachstahl GmbH with effect from the end of March 31, 2024 and has been appointed as an additional Managing Director of Salzgitter Hydroforming GmbH & Co.KG with effect from April 1, 2024.
