Change of leadership in the Cold Roller Sales Division

In October, there was a change of leadership in the Cold Roller Sales Division. Sven Bergmaier took over as head of the Cold Roller Sales Division from Friedrich Ellebrecht. Friedrich Ellebrecht will remain with Salzgitter Flachstahl, contributing his expertise to the newly created Operational Excellence division.

Sven Bergmaier completed his training at Salzgitter Flachstahl. He is taking over as head of sales and has 26 years of experience in the steel business from various perspectives. He has been team leader in the Trade/SSC sales division since 2012 and thus brings with him extensive experience, market knowledge, and a deep understanding of our customers' needs. The cold rollers can look forward to a knowledgeable and committed partner who will continue the successful and cooperative collaboration with them.

Martin Scharf, a long-standing team leader, remains a proven constant and cornerstone of the sales team. He continues to support the cold rollers as usual as a recognized expert with his in-depth knowledge, experience, and personal reliability. With 33 years of industry experience, he is familiar with the development of our cold rolling market and thus remains a guarantee of continuity.

The new appointments have been made entirely from within the company, ensuring a smooth transition without any loss of information.
