Management Change in the Trading, Steel Cervice Centre and Stock Holders Sales Division

There has been a change in leadership within the Sales Division. Following Sven Bergmaier’s appointment as head of the Cold Rolling Sales Division, Hayo Kölsch will take over as head of the sales team for the DACH and Benelux regions. As a result, responsibility for marketing the 2a/3a volumes will be transferred to Sven Voges’s division.

Hayo Kölsch previously completed his apprenticeship at Salzgitter Flachstahl. Until 2018, he worked in the Cold Rolling Sales department, where his responsibilities included slab sales as well as active and passive contract work. In his subsequent role as team leader in sales accounting, he gained comprehensive insight into all commercial areas. With his many years of experience and extensive customer expertise, he is ideally qualified for his new role.

For our customers, support from the existing sales team will remain unchanged. The experienced contacts for day-to-day business will continue to be available as usual. Filling the team leadership position from within our own ranks ensures a smooth transition without changes to established processes.

With Hayo Kölsch taking on this new role, the Retail Sales division, together with the other team leaders Sven Voges and Olaf Sauer, is now fully staffed again.
