Material parameters CD

Whether for car hoods, furniture fittings, steel buildings or gas cylinders, today a virtual examination is indispensable for component and structure design. But no matter which software is used, perhaps the most important requirement for a successful component design is access to the right material data.

Salzgitter-Flachstahl GmbH (SZFG) and Salzgitter Mannesmann Forschung GmbH have been supporting their customers with the appropriate material data for years. The steel grades, which are characterized there in accordance with SEP1240, are representative of the SZFG product range. A data CD containing newly revised information on the characterized material grades can be requested at the email address Werkstoffkennwerte@Salzgitter-AG.de.

The data CD contains the result data records of more than 57 characterized steel materials from the areas of low-carbon deep-drawing steels, microalloyed steels, dual phase steels, bainitic steels, and quenched and tempered steels.
