New terms and conditions for supply and payment

New terms and conditions for delivery and payment are entering into force at Salzgitter Flachstahl GmbH as of April 1, 2018. Diverse regulations have been revised due to changes in case law.

Specifically, for example, we have changed regulations regarding:

•    the acceptance of orders (A.I.4)
•    time limits for call up orders (A.II.2, A.II.4, A.II.5)
•    time limits regarding cost changes (A.II.11)
•    collateral security (A.III.2)
•    retention of title (A.IV.7, A.IV.8)
•    the condition upon delivery (B.I.2)
•    due diligence during transport and when receiving goods (B.IV.6)
•    inspection obligations for received goods (B.V.1, B.V.3, B.V.6, B.V.7, B.V.8)
•    the general limitations of liability (C.2, C.3, C.6)
•    and the legal venue (D.V.2)
