Whether it's a belt tongue in a car, the blade of a lawnmower or a drawer rail - cold rolled strip from "Risse + Wilke Kaltband" could be processed in these and many other places, and thus steel could come from the Salzgitter steelworks. Since 2004, Salzgitter Flachstahl has been supplying the company from Iserlohn, which was founded in 1920, with hot-rolled strip whose self-characterization sounds like a user manual for medium-sized companies. "At Risse + Wilke, it is all about lasting values that characterize medium-sized industrial companies: People, machines and steel. But not just any steel, but the highly technical and high-quality material cold rolled strip" - this is what the company brochure says. The family-owned company with locations in Iserlohn and Hagen is one of the leading specialists for cold-rolled strip steel with an annual production of approx. 140,000 t and generates annual sales of around € 155 million with its approx. 350 employees.
