Salzgitter AG acknowledged with the "Bosch Global Supplier Award"

Ranking as one of Bosch’s best suppliers worldwide, Salzgitter AG was presented with the "Bosch Global Supplier Award" by the technology and services company at a ceremony held on July 14. Salzgitter AG won the award in the "Raw Materials and Components" category in acknowledgement of "Superior quality and excellent performance as supplier" in cooperation with the Bosch subsidiary BSH Hausgeräte GmbH.

Out of some 35,000 suppliers, Bosch awarded prizes to a total of 46 suppliers from 11 countries. This is already the 18th time that the Bosch Group has honored the above-average performance of its suppliers in the manufacture or supply of raw materials, products or services – especially with regard to their quality, costs, sustainability and innovations.

Every two years, Bosch honors the best of its global supplier companies with the "Bosch Global Supplier Award". The technology and service company bestows the award in acknowledgement of their above-average performance in the manufacture and supply of raw materials, products or services. The award is based on various criteria in the categories of indirect purchasing and services. as well as raw materials and components. Since the year 1987 Bosch has been honoring the top performance of its supplier companies with this coveted award, which is acknowledged throughout the industrial arena. In the special “Sustainability” category, an interdisciplinary jury evaluates the sustainability performance of suppliers. The finalists in this category have at least an “A-“ rating in the renowned Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) and are making an exemplary contribution to climate neutrality.
