True to our YOUNITED mission statement, starting in 2026 the Trading Business Unit, together with the Group's sister company Salzgitter Flachstahl GmbH, will offer its customers real CO₂-reduced steel from the Group's own production route SALCOS® | Salzgitter AG - as coil or strip.

In a joint committent, the companies of the Trading Business Unit and Salzgitter Mannesmann Stahlservice GmbH have agreed with Salzgitter Flachstahl GmbH on intensive cooperation in the marketing of SALCOS^® | Salzgitter AG products.

"This joint initiative for the future market development of SALCOS^® | Salzgitter AG underscores the already successful and value-oriented cooperation between the Group's sister companies, which we will be happy to continue in the future," emphasized Eike Brünger, Managing Director of Sales and Logistics at Salzgitter Flachstahl GmbH.

"With the start of production from 2026, all Group sisters will have secured access to the initial production volumes of SALCOS^® | Salzgitter AG." Dr. Sebastian Bross Bross, Chairman of the Executive Board of Salzgitter Mannesmann Handel GmbH, is pleased to say.
